Is this invoice fiscally valid in Italy?
This tool generates a printable invoice template, useful as a draft, quote or proforma. In Italy, invoices to VAT-registered entities and public administration must be sent electronically (XML) through the Exchange System (SdI). Use this template for internal use or as a base, but for mandatory e-invoicing rely on accredited e-invoicing software.
How do I save the invoice as PDF?
Click "Print / Save PDF": the browser print dialog will open. In the "Destination" field choose "Save as PDF" (instead of a physical printer) and confirm. A clean PDF containing only the invoice, without the input form, will be downloaded.
Is my data saved or sent anywhere?
No. Everything happens exclusively in your browser: no invoice data is sent to a server. Closing or reloading the page loses the data, so save the PDF before leaving.
Is this invoice valid for tax purposes in Italy?
It is a printable template, good as a draft, a proforma or a quote. To VAT registered businesses and to public bodies an invoice still has to be sent as XML through the Sistema di Interscambio.
How do I save the invoice as a PDF?
The print button opens the browser dialogue: in the destination you choose to save as PDF instead of picking a printer. Only the invoice ends up in the file, without the form around it.
Are the invoice details saved anywhere?
No, they stay in the page and nowhere else: nothing is sent to a server. Reloading or closing the page loses them, so it is worth saving the PDF before leaving.
