Random Picker
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about random drawing
Is the draw truly random?
Yes, the tool uses the Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm based on the browser's random number generator (Math.random). Every entry has the same probability of being drawn and there are no repeats among the winners of the same draw.
Can I use it for giveaways and social contests?
Absolutely. Paste the participants' names or usernames (one per line), choose how many winners to draw and press "Draw". You can copy the list of winners with one click. It is perfect for Instagram, Facebook giveaways, events or classes.
Are participant data sent to a server?
No, everything happens exclusively in your browser. The list you paste never leaves your device and is not stored anywhere. Closing the page deletes the data. Privacy guaranteed when handling participants' personal data.
Is it suitable for a giveaway or a competition?
Yes: you paste the names or usernames of the entrants, one per line, choose how many winners to draw and copy the resulting list. It works for draws on social media, in class and at events.
Can a name be drawn twice?
No, the draw runs without repeats: each line can come out once only. If you ask for more winners than there are lines, every available name comes out.
Does the entrants data stay private?
Yes, the list stays in the browser and is neither sent nor stored. Closing the page makes it disappear, so you can use lists carrying real first and last names.
