How does splitting with different shares work?
By enabling "different shares" mode you can assign a weight to each person. For example, with weights 2, 1, 1 the first person will pay double the other two. The total (tip included) is split in proportion to the sum of the weights, so the expense is always covered 100%.
Is the tip calculated before or after the split?
The tip is calculated as a percentage of the total bill and added before the split. This way each person contributes to the tip in proportion to their share, both in even mode and with different shares.
Are my data saved or sent online?
No, all calculations happen directly in your browser and no amount is sent to external servers or stored. The tool is completely free, with no registration and no invasive ads. The displayed currency automatically adapts to the selected language.
Comment ajoute-t-on le pourboire à l'addition ?
Le pourboire se donne en pourcentage du montant, avec 0, 5, 10, 15 et 20 prêts à choisir. Il s'ajoute au total, et le partage entre les personnes part du total pourboire compris.
Une personne peut-elle payer plus que les autres ?
Oui. En activant les parts inégales, chaque participant reçoit un poids, où 2 signifie le double de quelqu'un à 1, et le total se répartit en proportion des poids.
Dans quelle monnaie les montants sont-ils affichés ?
Les montants suivent la langue choisie pour le site : en français l'addition partagée s'affiche avec le séparateur décimal et le symbole monétaire du formatage français.
