Domande Frequenti
How does the reading work?
It uses the speech synthesis of the browser and the voices installed on the device: the text is read locally, without going through any outside service. You pick voice, language, speed and pitch.
Why can I not find some languages?
Because the available voices depend on the operating system: Windows, macOS, Android and iOS install different sets. When a language is missing, it is added from the system settings.
Is the text I paste saved?
No, it stays in the page and is sent nowhere. Closing the page makes it disappear, so you can have a confidential text read out without leaving a copy behind.
